“Board Vice President”

Gregory Sanders is the founder and senior pastor of The ROCK Christian Fellowship in Long Beach, California, and member of WYSM’s Advisory Board. As an active community advocate for over twenty years, he has strived to balance ties between pastors, police, and the public.

Mark Sopcik

“Board Treasurer”

He is responsible for cultivating and maintaining relationships with community members/donors. In addition, Mark also manages WYSM’s finances. Mark graduated from the University of South Florida with a Bachelors of Science degree in Accounting as well as a Masters of Accountancy.

Lorenzo J. Uribe

“Board Member”

He is a veteran of the Long Beach Police Department serving the community since 2005. He is also the president of the National Latino Peace Officer’s Association – Long Beach Chapter, an organization that promotes equality and professionalism in policing while providing educational workshops and mentoring to its members.

Erik Miller

As a member of the Advisory Board, Erik assists in enhancing the program’s content, approving the budget, and coordinating the WYSM presentations to other community-based organizations. Erik is a Long Beach native who grew up in a crime-ridden neighborhood.

Stephanie Livshitz

“Board Secretary”

Stephanie Livshitz is a clinical psychologist currently working at the Twin Towers Correctional Facility. Dr. Livshitz earned her B.S. in Psychology from Drexel University and her PsyD in Clinical Psychology from Nova Southeastern University. She has received training in police and correctional psychology, substance abuse treatment, and has worked with at-risk adolescents through a diversionary program.

Regina Cash is Director of Professional Programs and Workforce Development for the College of Continuing and Professional Education at California State University, Long Beach. Regina oversees all the noncredit, professional development and corporate training programs for the college. She has over 20+ years in the area of education and training having been previously employed by the Long Beach Unified School District,
